Credential Holders

We currently have several licensed people holding credentials with City of Truth Ministries Inc.

Shop for quality affordable clothing, furniture, household items, and other great deals at any of our Restored Thrift Stores in  San Antonio.

The stores exist so that City of Truth can continue to offer low-cost, Christian drug recovery services to men and women struggling with addictions. The safe, supervised, drug-free environment at each location provides a great ‘classroom’ to teach retail principles to our students, as well as opportunities for them to share their own testimony about God’s grace through the ministry of City of Truth and reach out to the community.  All proceeds from the thrift stores benefit City of Truth Ministries of Texas.

1.  Have a desire in your heart for change in your life. Without this desire, true and lasting change cannot be achieved.

2.  Print or view Admissions documents for an overview of our recovery program or call to request an admissions packet be mailed to you:

3.  Contact the Admissions Coordinator at any of our campuses for an admissions phone interview.  Be prepared to honestly and candidly answer some serious questions about your life, your health, your family, and your legal situation during pre-screening.  You may be asked to make an appointment for a personal interview.

1.  MEDICAL – The completed Health Screening Form is required before you can enter the City of Truth Ministries Home program.  If you are unable to pay for your medical tests, there are many avenues to have these done at little or no cost.

2.  INDUCTION FEE – The $1,500 induction fee will need to be discussed before program entry.  While this fee does not pay for your entire stay at City of Truth Ministries Home , it is necessary to help defray the initial costs during your first few weeks here. If you cannot pay there is not a problem for the Lord will provide...

3.  RESIDENCY AVAILABILITY – Open beds are made available to new students on a first-come / first-served basis.  If we are full, you may be placed on the waiting list.  You must demonstrate a firm desire to come by having your Health Screening done and sent to our office, as well as by completing an interview.

4.  PRACTICAL ADVICE – If you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, or any other life-controlling problem, remove yourself from that environment.  Easier said than done, right?  But, if you are really serious about changing your life, you are going to need to do everything you can to stay away from alcohol and drugs, and away from the people that use them.  That temptation is always going to be there, but for now you need to get as far away from it as possible until you build your strength to resist it.You are also going to need to find other people who are willing to help you and support you in your decision to change your life.  Have you burned a lot of bridges getting to where you are today?  God can restore those relationships, but it’s not going to happen overnight. Find the courage to tell others about your decision, and you will find someone that agrees and wants to help you.

1.  PRAY.  Don’t ever underestimate the power of prayer. When you pray, you are establishing a relationship with God that will endure through the good days and the bad days.

2.  READ THE BIBLE. The Bible is God’s Word that has been given to us all. Its contents are simple and deeper than you could ever imagine, and will help you in times of struggle. Reading the Bible gives you new insight on this world and the problems we all face.

3.  SEEK FELLOWSHIP. Spending time with other Christians is an important part of the growing process in general, and is a great way to get some advice on the personal things you have going on in your life right now.

4.  WRITE DOWN YOUR PLAN. You need to map out your game plan on paper. If you are really going to change your life, you must have a plan! These plans may change, but you need to have a plan to follow when you hit a weak point.

5.  FOLLOW PRACTICAL ADVICE. Carefully consider the suggestions of Christian friends. Though the goals in your plan may not happen right now, they need to be a part of your plan.
